Group Poster • Your assigned group will be assigned a decade; the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s. • As a group you will read the section in your textbook corresponding to your decade. • You will create a poster over the history of that decade in Oklahoma. • Your group will present the information to the class.

Information for Your Poster • The decade clearly displayed 20 points • Group member names on the back 10 points • Use of Color 10 points • Organized/Neat 10 points • Pictures: hand drawn or printed, color preferred, minimum of 5. 50 points • Information on the following topics: 20 points each • Politics= leaders, laws, scandals, war/military • Economics= oil, energy, technology, agriculture, business, minerals, etc. • Education=leaders, laws, initiatives • Special Events/Projects=weather, celebrations, betterment of our state • Famous People
