What are the most salient challenges for a network to achieve its goals? • Develop new quality outputs and increase network’s output quality • Need more funds • Expansion of membership • Lack of awareness and recognition what network can deliver as part of the solution, genuine, trustable, respective, • Engaged the members to be active and get the commitment from the members
How would you address these challenges? • Develop new quality outputs and increase network’s output quality • Develop activities & tools for research and share with other members • Peer review of products development • Innovative & Online courses • Need more funds • Develop financial plan inline with strategic plan • Produce sellable products • Diversify the funding sources • Communicate the needs and objective
How would you address these challenges? • Expansion of membership • Promoting the network and its benefits • Quality assurance for network’s relationship, products and services • Lack of awareness and recognition what network can deliver as part of the solution, genuine, trustable, respective organization • Promoting the network and its benefits • Quality assurance for network’s relationship, products and services
How would you address these challenges? • Engaged the members to be active and get the commitment from the members • Communicate with members i.e. visiting, share for ideas and activities, benefits networking, etc.
Where do you want to see your network in 5 years? • Priscilla (Cap-Net Brazil) bigger and stronger in term of membership and financial • Joe (UNDP) to have the pacific network established and well operate • Carlos (REMERH) new tools developed in water allocation, climate change, drought and floods • Dora (Phil-Cap-Net) recognized as IWRM capaccity builder • Wibisono (CKNet) CKNet is a sustained and active knowledge network in IWEM. • Themba (Cap-Net UNDP dominant and contributor in capacity development at global level through partnership and collaborate with other kind of partners
