  2. History or His story? What is History? What could cause someone to want to change a story as it’s being written? I have a car accident that’s half my fault, half the other drivers fault When I tell the story, how will my story differ from the other drivers? Story police accept becomes written history, even though one of us doesn’t agree

Europe believe earth was flat, many thought Columbus’s mission was suicide Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria set out west Columbus was right….minus North and South America Made 4 voyages across Atlantic Died 1504 never accepting he found new land

What if Africans established successful colonies and there was no slave trade? How has what happened in the past impacted present day?
