Draft recommendations from birth to six months • Project status • Online consultation on draft statement (0-6 months) conducted from Jan 6 to Apr 15, 2011 received 202 submissions • Submissions gave extensive comments on the recommendations and detailed suggestions for wording, content and organization of the statement

Draft recommendations from birth to six months • Evolving towards the final draft… • Statement is currently being redrafted considering the input received during consultation period • Revised statement will be reposted on Health Canada’s website • to provide stakeholders with another opportunity to comment before the statement is final

  7. Draft recommendations from birth to six months • Plans for dissemination • Final statement to be published on Health Canada’s website with links from Dietitians of Canada (DC) and the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) • Working with DC to update PEN content • Developing a Practice Point for the CPS journal
