JUSTIFICATIONS FOR STATE-ADDED/ OPTIONAL MODULE QUESTIONS
COSTS FOR STATE ADDED &OPTIONAL MODULE • BRFSS has been in existence for more than a decade. It is the only source of its size able to provide prevalence data on Chronic Disease and High Risks behaviors. • Making it an integral component for health promotion and intervention planning throughout Arizona. • Recently BRFSS budgets have been cut and we are now looking at a $150,000 short-fall. • *Note* for 2013 the shortfall could be as high as $200,000. • If necessary in 2013, WOULD any of your programs be willing to contribute ADDITIONAL FUNDING?
State-added and Optional Module costs will increase from $2,000 to possibly $3,100 per question. COSTS FOR STATE ADDED &OPTIONAL MODULE
