Exams • Multiple-choice questions • First midterm: 1st and 2nd parts, October 21 • Second midterm: 3rd and 4th parts, November 25 • Final: 5th and 6thparts • Everything included • Make-up exam only if applied within one weekafter the exam with documentation • No make-up for group or individual participation studies in the class
Attendance and participation • Come prepared • Bring your book to the class • Have a look at the end-of-chapter questions • Ask relevant questions and provide insights • Share personal experiences • Be critical • Justify your comments • Do not write the name of an absent student on the group participation sheet and lose all participation points
Grading-1 • Percentage Grade Coefficient • 90-100 AA 4 • 85-89 BA 3.5 • 80-84 BB 3 • 75-79 CB 2.5 • 70-74 CC 2 • 65-69 DC 1.5 • 60-64 DD 1 • 50-59 FD 0.5 • 49 and below FF 0
Grading-2 • No change in grades if no miscalculation • No additional individual study • Unacceptable criteria: you work outside, this is your last semester, this is your only course, this is important for you to be able to apply for a master’s degree, your CGPA is less than 2.00 or 2.50 or 3.00, you fall into the probation status, or any other reason not stated in the syllabus
Civility • Be in class on time • Do not leave for any reason during the lecture/discussion • Turn cellular phones and laptops off • Avoid side conversations • Use impersonal language • See the instructor if you need special arrangements • DO NOT COME TO CLASS IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO
