  4. 1988, he was admitted to Harward Law School , where he gained his doctor’s degree in 1991. After graduation he worked as a lawyer, lecturer and took up politics

  5. In 1997 , Obama was elected the Illinois State Senator. From 1997 to 2004 he devoted himself to the Illinois State Senate

  6. 2005 – 2008 Obama worked as a United States Senator .

  7. On November 4, 2008, he became the first African-American president of the United States.
