  5. Literature Review The search for appropriate literature Initially focused on size: Solo Librarian Lone Archivist This is a different TYPE of archive: Volunteer-run A stand-alone institution

Community Archives Definition: “Collections of archival records that originate in a community – that is, a group of people who live in the same location or share other forms of community interest – and whose collection, maintenance and use involves active participation of that community” (Newman, 2011, p. 38).
