  2. collage (From the French: coller, to glue) This term was coined by both Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso in the beginning of the 20th century • Work of formal art, made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole work of art • An artistic collage work may include newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of colored or hand-made papers, portions of other artwork, photographs, and such, glued to a piece of paper or canvas.

  14. ACCORDION BOOK PROJECT GUIDELINES • You have to tell an autobiographical narrative. • SIX PAGES will tell the narrative • The two end pages with have covers on the back. They need to be thicker, add cardboard, decorative paper, etc… don’t have to be a conventional book cover. • I expect at least three types of media involved in your collage. Play with weird stuff like office supplies, or add drawings.
