But a requirement… • Department Objectives • “District Commanders will ensure that each Post has a Vice Commander as Chairperson of the Membership Committee” • Department Membership Plan • “Membership Teams are needed at every level!” • Does your Post have a Membership Committee?

What Is The Responsibility of a Membership Committee? • Communicate that membership growth is necessary and everyone’s responsibility • “Everyone Recruit One” • Assure growth and achievement of goals • Utilize recognition awards • National Commanders membership awards • Texas Lone Star Recruiter award

  6. What Does A Membership Committee Do? • Develops a written plan of action • What are we going to do, who is going to do it and when will it be completed • Divides up the work • 90% Renewals • 15% Recruiting • Restoring expired members • Transfers – TX345 & AD345
