In the event of a building evacuation being required the following procedure applies: • ‘Beep, beep’ tone alerts wardens and occupants • ‘Whoop, whoop’ tone signals evacuation I will now explain the route to the nearest fire exit and if evacuation is required I will be your guide to the assembly area.

Languages update! • Australian Curriculum- Where are we up to? (according to ACARA) • Italian and Chinese curriculum being revised based on feedback from consultations • Curriculum is being streamlined - 2 strands: • Communicating • Understanding • Less sub-strands • Chinese and Italian to be approved by Minister early 2014 • Other languages to be revised in 2014 • Implementation for NSW?? (This decision rests with NSW minister andBoS)
