  2. Osama bin Laden Was known as "the prince" and "the emir”, he was the most visible leader of the terrorist group al-Qaeda. Born in Saudi Arabia in 1957, he was the 17th son of 51 children of Muhammad bin Laden, who left bin Laden with a fortune from the construction company he owned. Name: Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden Age: 54 Born: March 10, 1957 Died: March 2, 2011 Place of Birth: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Appearance: Brown eyes and brown hair. Notes: Leader of terrorist organization called, “al-Qaeda”.

His death was in November 2001. Name: Mohammed Atef Age: 57 Born: 1944 Died: November 16, 2001 Place of Birth: Egypt Notes: He was the military chief of al-Qaeda until his death in 2001.

Name: Mustafa Ahmed Muhammad Uthman Abu al-Yazid Age: 54 Born: December 17, 1955 Died: May 21, 2010 Place of Birth: Egypt Notes: He was the financial chief for al-Qaeda.

  5. Mamdouh Mahmud Salim Mamdouh Mahmud Salim is an alleged co-founder of the Islamist terrorist network al-Qaeda. He was arrested on 16 September 1998 near the German town Munich. Name: Mamdouh Mahmud Salim Age: 54 Born: 1958 Died: Still alive. Place of Birth: Sudan Notes: Has been sentenced for 32 years of imprisonment in the Florence, Colorado prison.
