  2. He was born September 13, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

  3. He attended Simon High school as a kid.

  4. He was abused as a kid so he changed his name to Tyler to get away from his dad

  5. When he got out of college he was working in an office job when he saw the Oprah Winfrey show discussing therapeutic nature of writing. So he knew what he wanted to do when he got older, be a writer.

  6. He went on to write the movies Madea’s Big Happy Family, Tyler Perry House of Pain, and Tyler Perry Meet the Brown’s.

  7. His first production was on Febuary 24, 2006. The movie was “Diary of a Mad Black Women.” It was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia
