  1. Two methods to observe tutorial • Standard Method • This method allows presentation to be resized to user preference. • Slide Show Method (Example below) • Presentation fills entire screen • Click on Slide Show tab at top of screen • Click icon <From Beginning> • Note: Either method; to advance click the progression arrow in the bottom right corner of each slide or press the down-arrow key.

  2. Welcome to BSIP 101 Transaction Procedures “Changing Inventory Storage Location” Instructor: Stephen Wright DPI Technical Consultant

  3. The material for which you desire to change MUST be extended to the plant before any changes can occur. If it is not, please stop this tutorial and start the tutorial titled“Extending Material to Plant.”

  4. Purpose:To change materialsextended into inventory storage location.

  5. One transaction is required to complete this procedure: • ZMM02Z Let’s get started -

  6. From the SAP R/3 Easy Access screen box type ZMM02Z or from your favorites menu, select transaction ZMM02Z – Change Plant Material Your screen should look similar to the example at the right.

  7. A new window opens: • Create Material (Initial Screen) Enter the following: Material - Enter any valid material number. (Ex: For training purposes we selected EEA000016) Press <Enter> or Click Continue Icon to progress.

  8. A new window opens: • Organizational Levels Tip: The Organizational Levels window should contain your plant data; if not return to the “Initial Setup” tutorial and complete initial setup for ZMM01Z. Tip: If the codes did not populate, but, you know them – then key them directly. With Plant & Storage Location codes entered press <Enter> or click the Continue Icon

  9. Saving returns you to: • Change Material window Note: The DOT # will be displayed in the Material field and to the right a description of the item.

  10. Saving returns you to: • Change Material window Click on the Drop-down menuicon Select Plant data / Stor. 1 from the dropdown list by double clicking. Enter the correct information for the Storage Bin. Click Save icon to record changes.
