Using the SAMR by Dr. Robert Puentedura, Dwinal will walk you through how to integrate iPads into your everyday teaching keeping it easy for you and a meaningful experience for you and your students. From unique assessment options to ways to control your projector during a lesson, you will find at least one new excuse to borrow that iPad cart.   2. Whether its 1 or 30 You can use an iPad in your classroom in a meaningful way. • Take it slow • Don’t do it all at one time • Be proactive teaching the technology • The more fun it is for you the more fun it will be for your students!

  5. First.. • Think about one lesson, maybe something that could use a little spicing up. • Do you use an iPad in it? • If you don’t, how could you? • If you do, how could you elevate the activity to another leavel?

  6. Substitution • Taking that one lesson you thought of..what can they use on the iPad to substitute part of that lesson?

  7. Augmentation • Now, how can you improve on your substituted activity?

  8. Modification • Now how are you going to take that activity and begin to elevate and redesign it?

  9. Redefinition • Now it’s time to completely redesign your original activity, it won’t take that long you’re halfway there already!

  10. Now.. Take a look at your original activity and your redefined one, would you have even imagined your redefined activity before?
