SywellEGBKEMC2010 The British Microlight Aircraft Association and the Royal Aero Club submit their final bid to hold the 2010 European Microlight Championships at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire from 7th to 15th August 2010. Sywell, which is in the centre of England 260 km from Dover, was opened in 1928 and is a traditional British aerodrome. Until 2008 its runways have been of grass but a new tarmac runway is being laid down and will be complete by 2010 although EMC2010 will be flown from the grass.
