Objectives • Describe exemplary membership and education programs that will promote engagement of chapter members and delivery of goals. • Explain ways of maintaining good rapport among members through educational programs and membership initiatives. • Discuss means of fostering positive engagement between the Executive Board and the general membership in order to increase retention rates.

  4. Fostering Positive Engagement • Mentor committee members to be potential leaders • Hold regular committee meetings and conduct follow-ups • Award committee members a Certificate of Appreciation • Involve members in tasks & decision making

  8. Membership Activities • Membership hospitality table every monthly meeting and at every event - Name tags - Sign-in for attendance - Raffle tickets for prizes

  10. Membership Activities • Awarding a free one-year membership during seminars • Giving away free PNAMH t-shirts • Showing support for our nursing profession by presenting the members with gifts during Nurses Week • Doing raffle drawings during monthly membership meetings

  14. New Accomplishments • Use of PayPal for accepting membership dues.

  15. Top 10 Reasons to Join the PNAMH 10. Yearly dues compared to other professional organizations is a BARGAIN. 9. Free monthly educational offering with 1.0 CNE. 8. Discounted registration fees for educational seminars with CNEs. 7. Free light snacks provided during meetings and seminars with raffle giveaways thereafter. 6. Opportunities to serve through Community Outreach activities.
