Compared to Mary I Mary I , like Macbeth, worried that she had no children to be her heir. She was desperate to have a child who could carry on her legacy and make sure all the work she had done in securing the throne would mean something. In the end she died with no children and the crown went to her sister.

Compared to Mary I Like Macbeth, Mary started out as a promising individual with virtues but as time went on and pressures built Mary lost her virtue to pressure and began to become harsher in her rule and eventually burned at the stake about 300 people in the course of three years.
