What did he do?—Analyze and brainstorm as a class Hellenistic Worksheet **((Turn in Matrix Worksheets))**

  10. Ancient Greek Newspaper • The year is 328 BCE….. And you will be creating a newspaper to explain all of the exciting events and changes that are occurring! • Options for the newspaper include, but not exclude, the following: • sports (Olympics), • current events, • general information about Greece, (weather, gossip..etc) • travel, • culture, • religion (Gods/Goddesses), • science, • philosophy, • government, • art, architecture…..

  11. Newspaper project • Within the news-team, each person is responsible for writing SIXarticles covering one of the following choices: • 1. Editorial Board • 2. General News • 3. Technology and Military Arts • 4. Lifestyles (human interest stories) • 5. Arts and Entertainment • 6. Religion, Philosophy, and Science • About 4 paragraphsper article will be sufficient • At least ONEimage per article!

  12. Computer Lab Days • You will have THREE FULL computer lab days next week: • Tuesday 11.12.13 • Wednesday 11.13.13 • Thursday 11.14.13 • The Project is due MONDAY 11.18.13 • Use the rest of the period to choose and prepare articles/ ask any questions!!
