Summarize • A New Mexico-based solar power systems developer plans to hire a team of with ASU to develop new solar panels. • President of the company says teaming up with ASU at its innovation center will help the company to develop the lowest cost power. • ASU officials say the partnership benefits the university and complements a solar-panel testing facility.

  3. Personal Opinion • The Solar Power department in ASU is one of the few solar panel certification authorities in the world. • The Solar Power department in ASU have partnership with a Germany company, it even could consider as “belong to” that company. • The graduate students in the Solar Power department cannot reach the core technology of the solar power, they are treated as “cheap labors”.
