Strategic partnerships and delivery structure for Gedling South Nottinghamshire Domestic Abuse Strategic Partnership: all agencies represented – Gedling D.Jayne delivery plan owned by South Notts CSP South Nottinghamshire Sanctuary police, fire, district housing, women’s aid Gedling has defined budget and designated lead South Nottinghamshire MARAC

    4. South Nottinghamshire MARAC Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference Chaired by DI Stuart McHattie Focus on High Risk All agencies represented Victims supported by Independent Domestic Violence Advocate MARAC shares information and creates action plan for increased safety Assists police to progress criminal proceedings

    5. Shared Partnership Arrangements 24 hour helpline for victim/survivors and staff Common risk assessment to establish level of danger and risk Multi-agency training Established referral pathways: Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults Women’s refuges. Sanctuary Scheme Sexual Assault Referral Centre SARC Outreach support for individuals & families

    6. Targets Reduce repeat victimisation High risk DV repeat cases to South Notts MARAC. Target to March 31st 2010 was 28%. Actual figure was 15% Prevention work Increase number of School based DV prevention and healthy relationship programmes educating young people Links to Joint Access Teams to improve support to children affected by DV Establish Domestic Abuse Link Worker post to improve safeguarding of children Influence perpetrators Work with young perpetrators and improve outcomes for those on court mandated programmes
