TAC Annual Review of Protocol Defined Parameters Item (1)(a)(iii) of Protocol Section 7.5.5.3, Auction Process, states: • The additional credit requirement for all awarded PTP Obligations, which is $A per MW per hour, plus the absolute value of the PTP Obligation bid price multiplied by M. The values of A and M Shall be posted on the MIS Public Area. TAC shall review these values at least annually and may recommend, to the ERCOT Board, changes to these values that become effective at least 30 days prior to a monthly CRR Auction and 60 days prior to an annual CRR Auction. Any changes to these values shall be posted on the MIS Public Area within three Business Days of ERCOT Board approval. Protocol Section 16.11.4.5, Determination of the Counter-Party Future Credit Exposure, states: • The parameters to determine ACPE (X and Y) shall be posted on the MIS Public Area. The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) shall review these values at least annually and may recommend to the ERCOT Board changes to these values. If changes to these values are approved by the ERCOT Board, such revised values shall be posted on the MIS Public Area within three Business Days of ERCOT Board approval. Current values A = $0.75 and M = 0 X = $1.00 and Y = $1.50 Values reviewed at 10/26/11 CWG/MCWG Meeting. Item is scheduled for November WMS and recommendation will be made to December TAC. TAC
TAC Annual Review of Protocol Defined Parameters Item (8) of Protocol Section 3.8, Auction Process, states: • If a QSGR comes On-Line as a result of a Base Point less than its COP LSL, the QSE representing the QSGR may request a manual override from the ERCOT Operator within the first ten minutes after the SCED time stamp, and the ERCOT Operator shall set the Low Dispatch Limit (LDL) to a level greater than or equal to the COP LSL; the energy produced shall be settled pursuant to Section 6.6.9, Emergency Operations Settlement. If the manual override is requested, the first q consecutive Settlement Intervals beginning with the Settlement Interval in which the Base Point less than the QSGR’s COP LSL is given shall be settled pursuant to Section 6.6.9. The value of q shall be reviewed at least annually by TAC. The value of q shall be provided to the market via Market Notice within three Business Days after a TAC approval of a change in value and the new value shall be effective on the first day of the next month. Following a SCED QSGR deployment, the QSGR is expected to follow the SCED Base Points. Current value of q = 2 October WMS requested QMWG to review and report back to November WMS. Item is scheduled for November WMS and recommendation will be made to December TAC. TAC
