Updating the INEE MS: Objectives • Simplify the format and language • Strengthen key issues: gender, HIV/AIDS, ECD, youth, inclusive ed, DRR, conflict mitigation, human rights, inter-sectoral linkages, and child protection and psychosocial support • Address inconsistencies, faults and omissions in 2004 edition

Updating the INEE Minimum Standards The Working Group will launch the new edition through a series of events and promotion activities Approval and Launch (April 2010) Peer Review (Jan 2010) Working Group members will review the proposed update Thematic Reference Groups (June-Dec) Focal Points lead reference groups of INEE members and other experts Online Consultation (May-June) The Update Consultant will lead an online consultation to solicit input and validate existing feedback from INEE Members.
