  8. Remember Twitter is a public forum • But you can “DM” someone – send them a direct message which only they will see. • Protect your tweets if you are worried about privacy – go into settings and select “protect my tweets”.

  14. Some ideas for using Evernote • Organise lesson plans • Email lesson plan to cover staff/absent students • Take photos of documents and attach • Take photos of students’ work for peer assessment • Use on all your devices

  15. Classtools.net – liven up your lessons • Random name picker – get students to answer questions, speak on topics, sit in hotseat etc. • Put vocab in the name picker and use as a test/ quiz • Put topics in and get students to talk about them • Put verbs in and get students to conjugate them

  22. Wallwisher – online sticky notes • Set up an account. Set up a page. Share the link. Students click to add note. Set it so you have to approve their posts.

  23. Glogster EDU – interactive posters • Create yourself an account. Spend some time learning how to make glogs – the instructions make it easy.

  24. Popplet – online mindmaps • Very easy to use. Make mindmaps for starters, plenaries, revision, essay plans, homework, etc.
