JULES HOROWITZ REACTOR SUSEN • CVR takes a part on design and construction of a new high performance test reactor • Built by an international consortium lead by CEA • Cadarache, France
The LWR-15 is a light water cooled and moderated tank reactor and serves as a radiation source for: RESEARCH REACTOR LVR-15 • Material testing at water loops and rigs • Radio-pharmaceutical production • Silicon doping • Experiments in nuclear and applied physics using beam tubes • Experiments for medical purposes • Open for other applications on case by case basis Characteristics of LWR-15
RESEARCH REACTOR LR-0 The light water zero power reactor LR-0 is used for determination of neutron-physical characteristics of VVER and PWR type reactor lattices and shielding with UO2 or MOx fuel. The maximum reactor power is 5 kW Thermal neutron flux of 1013 n/m2s.
