Milwaukee Community Compost Network Our Mission: To Educate businesses and residents to recycle their vegetable and fruit scraps at home or at one of our many community compost sites. The soil generated aids in the food production of local farms, community gardens, and home victory gardens. The Kompost Kids: We are a group of volunteers, businesses, and consumers working hard to create a decentralized composting operation that helps urban agriculture have access to high quality, clean soil for the purpose of growing sustainable GOOD FOOD, while turning waste in black gold (aka, soil). This is a volunteer run operation and we invite you to participate in the production of soil, not oil. Currently, we are composting a two main locations, Concordia Gardens, Sweet Water Organics, and Bay View Hide House Community Garden.
