Job Description of Graphic Designer A graphic designer Finds the best way to get a message across To someone visually by: color, type,illustration, photography, animation,and various print and layout techniques. They design layouts for magazines, newspapers journals, and other types of publications.

    3. Required Education & Training To be a graphic designer you will need a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Some positions accept an associate’s degree.

    4. School Subjects The subjects you would need to take to be a graphic designer are: Art Computer English Sales & Marketing

    5. Personal Abilities & Interests The personal abilities and interests needed are: Creativity Good Communication Problem Solving “Modern” Taste or open to new ideas

    8. Working Conditions You would work inside a well- light office building. It is a comfortable work.

    12. Future Outlook The outlook of a graphic designer will be fast than average. It will be a 10% increase.

    13. Interesting Facts You can be self-employed and work at home Depending on what rank you are you may only need to take 2-3 years of college, or known as a Associate’s Degree.

    14. The Likes and Dislikes Likes: It’s a nice working environment. I’m good artist. I can be creative. You only need 4 years of college. Dislikes: Being on the computer a lot makes me tired. You have to be a fast learner. It doesn’t pay too well.
