  2. The Scenario • You are teaching Pre-K through Kindergarten and design curriculum for yourself and five other classrooms at your charter school in Evanston. • You want to do more with technology and integrate it into the different subject areas.

  3. Challenge • You’ve been asked by the school board to do a presentation on technology, to convince them to contribute budget towards class IT. TASKS: • Revise curriculum • Develop a desktop with researched applets

  4. REQUIREMENTS: • Literacy (4) • Math (4) • Science (2) • Letter/ Shape Tracing for special needs

  5. Materials should also make use of wireless technology

  6. Research Foundation Ideal applications: • Have vivid graphics • Open-ended for student-inputted learning (Constructivism) • Allow for independent exploration • Scaffold with grid system
