  3. Early believers were known more for what they did than for what they believed or said.

  4. THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS • WE TALK TOO MUCH AND LISTEN TOO LITTLE! • SELFISH ANGER NEVER HELPS ANYONE! • GET RID OF MORAL FILTH AND PREVALENT EVIL! • HUMILITY - REMEMBER WHAT CHRIST DID FOR US!

  5. THE WAY OF TRUE FREEDOM • WHAT EFFECT DOES YOUR BIBLE STUDY TIME HAVE ON THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? • THE LAW/ FREEDOM PARADOX - • God’s LAW points out our sin. • God’s grace allows us to be forgiven. • Salvation frees us from sin’s control. • Then we are free to live as God created us.

  6. The WAY of Sacrificial Love • “Religious” - outward, ongoing acts of Faith. • 3 Key components - • Control your tongue or stand the risk of deceiving yourself. • Care for the poor and powerless. • Commit ourselves to Christ’s ethical and moral system.
