  1. Now get relief from periodontal diseases How much care do you take for your teeth? Do you know that adults over 35 lose more teeth to gum disease (periodontal disease) than from cavities. Four out of five adults are affected at some time in their life. The best way to prevent periodontal disease or cavities is by good, daily tooth brushing and flossing techniques. The word periodontium means the collective tissue that surrounds your teeth. Its function is to provide firm support to the teeth. When it comes to your gums and teeth, infections can be common, especially if you are not maintaining oral hygiene properly. Particles of food stuck between the teeth and not removed promptly by brushing or flossing can lead to formation of bacteria that will not only decay teeth but will infect the surrounding gums as well. The early symptoms include inflammation or infection of gums. The infected gums may appear swollen, tender, red or purplish in color. Swollen gums that appear shiny are the first symptom of periodontal disease. Infected gums bleed easily, even on gentle brushing. They are tender to touch but do not cause any pain at all. Teeth seem to become loose and bad odor comes from the person’s mouth. All these symptoms are enough to show that the person is suffering from Periodontitis gum disease. It is said that "Prevention is better than cure" and it totally makes sense in the case of Periodontitis. The treatments are available as per the severity of infection. In case of Periodontal Treatment in Commerce there are various methods that you may have to undergo according to the level it has spread up to. Depending on case to case, the infection will have to be removed from the pockets by doing a scaling and then root planning promotes root reconnection with their respective tooth. This way the pocket between the gums and tooth is greatly reduced and tooth connection is promoted.
