Established in 1998, CultureWorks is an on-campus Academic English school that provides conditional acceptances to Canadian universities and colleges. Our program prepares students with strong critical-thinking skills and academic English proficiency necessary for success in higher education.

  2. What is CultureWorks? Established in 1998 CultureWorks is an on-campus Academic English school with conditional acceptances to Canadian universities and college. We graduate strong, critical-thinking students that possess the academic skills necessary for university/college success.

  6. English Program Continued… • In addition to our curriculum, students can choose courses that interest them through our Electives program. They include: • Engineering & Technology, Canadian Cultural Studies, Business & Management, IELTS, Pronunciation and Presentation Skills, Speaking Fluency Practice • (The Daily Boomalang)

  7. English Program Continued… In the upper levels, our Independent Study Project prepares students for university assignments Extra support hours are built into students’ schedule for one-on-one guidance

  8. Extracurricular Activities CultureWorks offers a wide range of opportunities to have fun, socialize, and practice English outside of the classroom. Optional trips include: Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, CN Tower, Toronto Blue Jays, Nature Hikes, Cooking Classes, Leadership Workshops, Laser Tag, Dinners, Games Night, Art Classes, Be a Buddy – Support new students, Volunteer Opportunities and more!

  9. Housing Homestay/Roomstay: Students live with a Canadian family. Homestay includes all meals; no food is provided in a Roomstay. University and College Dormitory: These are based on availability. Generally, rooms are shared with another student. Food is provided as well as all amenities.

  10. Learn on Campus CultureWorks students are members of the post-secondary community. Students are taught in university and college classrooms, and have access to facilities and services on campus.

  11. Conditional Acceptance: Undergraduate, Graduate and College Programs Successful completion of our program gives academically qualified students direct entrance into post-secondary studies at 5 universities (undergraduate and graduate programs) and 1 college.

Pay a deposit or provide proof of government sponsorship • Receive both letters of acceptance – CultureWorks and university/college • Undergraduate university/college letters of acceptance typically take 1-3 weeks to receive • Graduate letters of acceptance typically take 3-4 months to receive • Student applies for Visa. If Visa is refused student deposit is promptly returned minus $200.00 processing fee • Student arrives at CultureWorks – first step to success!!!
