  2. 2019 MULTI-CULTURAL FAIR • There will be 21 cultures represented. Look forward to learning something new, participating games, enjoying culturally specific foods/snacks, and performances. • S. Korean Philippines Cambodia Italy • Nigeria African American Vietnam • Jamaica Greek Ghana Mexico • El Salvador Pakistan Creole When: Friday, 3/22/19 Time: 8:30 am – 10:45 am Location: Café, and the 3rd Floor

  3. 2019 MULTI-CULTURAL FAIR • Fair Performances • Sign up in the front office If you are interested in performing q culturally related dance, song, spoken word, etc. The deadline to sign up is, Wednesday, 3/20/19. • The performances will begin at 9:30 am, and only 10 individuals/groups will be allowed to perform.

  7. DSG Hours • ALL DSG forms for 2018-2019 School Year are due April 1, 2019. Please make sure you submit all forms by April 1, 2019. • Please turn in all forms for February by end of day today, February 28, 2019.

  8. EOC Prep Rescheduled EOC Prep for March 30, 2019 has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 6, 2019, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  9. Lone Star College-North Harris is hosting its annual Open House on Tuesday, April 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Open House provides a unique opportunity for our service area high school students and their parents to learn more about our campus in person. This event is a great way for students to explore the college and its numerous offerings, and help them gain a better understanding of what a quality education at LSC-North Harris can provide.

  10. SAT prep – Held every Tuesday and Wednesday Time: 3:20pm- 4:15pm Location: Rm. 109 (Mrs. Martinez's room)

  11. Chess After School Thursdays • Chess after school on Thursdays, 3:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Rm. 211 with Mr. Rayees. All skill levels are welcome. • You must have your own transportation

  15. Lost and Found • Lost and found items: Please check front office for lost items. Items not claimed within two weeks will be donated.

  16. Stage on the 3rd Floor • Students are not allowed to sit on the stage. Please remain off the stage at all times.

  17. FOOD DELIVERED for students • Students this is a reminder that ONLY parents are allowed to deliver a lunch for you at school, and your parents can only bring a lunch for you.

  18. Office procedures • If you have lost an item, please check the front office. Items not claimed after two weeks, will be donated. • If you find a lost item, please turn it in to the front • Students, whenever you are in the clinic or any office in the building and you are late to class, please bring the pass you are given to return to class to the front office, to get an official office pass. This will help greatly with attendance coding. Thank you.

  19. Medications • ALL medicine must be checked in with the nurse.

  21. MEDIA CENTER EXPECTATIONS • No Use of Foul Language. • Work Quietly, Stay on Task. • Use of your cellular device should be for academic purposes only! You should not use your study hall and/or student assistant time to play games on your phone. • No Laying down and NO Sleeping! • Conduct Yourself as Young Adult. • No Horse Play. IMPORTANT NOTE: Failure to adhere to the expectations of the Media Center will result in appropriate consequences. Thank you!

  22. Sack lunches • Students if you will be returning on the 1 p.m. bus from Lone Star, please make sure to pick up your sack lunch before leaving to Lone Star. You will not be allowed to pick up a lunch from the cafeteria when you return. Please submit request for lunch by 7:50 a.m. Choices: • Ham & Cheese Sand. • Turkey & Cheese sand. • The Box- PB&J • The Box Deconstructed Parfait • The Box Protein Pack • Pop Corn Chicken Salad • Spinach, Bacon & Egg Salad • Spicy Chicken Salad.

  23. Student ID card • Student MUST wear their ID at ALL times. • If students have forgotten their ID, they will need to get a temporary ID from front office for a fee of $1. • If student has lost their ID, they must purchase a replacement ID for $5.
