Nature of the Course • The course combines theoretical and practical understanding on the design and operations of computer networks and network protocols. • The theory part of the course consists of a series of lectures. • Laboratory exercises and assignment comprise the practical part.
What You Will Learn • Basic principles and applications of computer networks and the Internet. • The operations of different layers in the Internet protocol stack. • Issues like network security to most current and relevant networking technologies. • Practical experience on designing small computer networks and understanding network protocols.
