  4. Crocs 4 Kids -Team Nicaragua DONATE YOUR OLD CROCS TODAY! SEE YOUR PE TEACHER (OR MRS. KELLEY)FOR DONATIONS YOUR OLD PAIR OF CROCS WILL PROVIDE THE ONLY PROTECTION THESE CHILDREN HAVE FOR THEIR FEET. EVERY PAIR COUNTS!

  6. Attention all 7th Graders

  7. On Thursday January 31st from 3:30 - 5:30 The Smart’s Mill PTA will be holding a 7th grade Fun Event in the school Gymnasium!!!!

  8. Come Play Minute to Win it games with your teachers & friends!!! Pizza & Snacks will be available for purchase. Entrance to the event is FREE!

  9. All students will have their names entered into a drawing (for FREE!) to win prizes from great Leesburg businesses like Sweet Frog, Jersey Mike’s, CiCis, and many more!

  10. Permission slips for the 7th grade Fun Night will be distributed during FOCUS.  Students need to get them signed Tuesday night and return them to their Focus teachers on Wednesday.

  11. The Second Quarter Character Counts reception will be held today at 2:45 in the cafeteria. Congratulations to everyone being recognized

  12. Please wait for Mr. Waldman's announcement before dismissing students from your classes.

  14. Attention 8th Graders • Get ready for the • 8TH grade BACKYARD BASH • T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

  15. Create a design to go on a white t-shirt which will be worn by the 8th graders at the annual end-of-year Back Yard Bash on June 3, 2013.

  16. The design should include: • The words “SMART’S MILL” • The words “CLASS OF 2013” • One color (which will go on the white shirt) • Design/language must be school appropriate

  17. Students should submit all designs to Mr. Eskew. The deadline to submit your design has been extended to March 1st.

  35. For every printer cartridge we recycle, we get $2.00 store credit at Staples. That can add up to a lot of school supplies for our teachers and staff!!!

  36. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.

  37. Bring your Box Tops for Education to your Focus teacher.  The focus group that collects the most will get a prize provided by the PTA
