SATAN— “The Adversary,” 18 times in OT, 36 times in NT. It is a transliteration of both the Hebrew and Greeks words. • THE DEVIL– “The false accuser, slanderer,” 33 times in NT. THE DEVIL
The Accuser of our brethren, Apollyon & Abaddon (the destroyer), the Adversary, Belial (wickedness), Beelzebul (lord of filth or flies), deceiver, great dragon, the evil one, father of lies, the god of this world, a liar, a murderer, the prince of the power of the air, the ruler of this world, the ancient serpent, the tempter. THE DEVIL

“One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.”” Job 1:6-7

Christ is interceding for you! • “My prayer is… that you protect them from the evil one.” (John 17:15) RREMEMBER
God can use Satan to carry out His providential work. • “A thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan,”… “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:7-8). REMEMBER
You have all you need to stand against him. • “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” (Ephesians 6:11). REMEMBER
He is a defeated foe. • He is not God. He’s not omniscient, omnipresent, nor omnipotent. He can’t read your mind, be everywhere at once, or do whatever he wants, etc. REMEMBER
Jesus taught us to pray… • “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matt. 6:13). REMEMBER
