Kepha’s Warning Kepha Bet 2:1 – 3 But there also came to be false prophets among the people, as also among you there shall be false teachers, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, and deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. And many shall follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of, and in greed, with fabricated words, they shall use you for gain. From of old their judgment does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.
Who is Kepha Speaking to? Kepha Alef 1:1 – 2 He is speaking to Ephraimites/Israelites.
Beware of False Teachers The Obvious
“Yea, hath God said …” (Beresheet 3:1, KJV)
FIRST RULE CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT, CONTEXT
The First Context Is The Context Of The Paragraph The Verse Is In. The Next Context Is The Chapter Context. The Third Context Is The Book Context. The Fourth Context Is The Whole Of Scripture Context.
SECOND RULE THERE ARE NO CONTRADICTIONS IN SCRIPTURE!
It doesn’t matter what we call God, He knows who we are talking about. We are not under the law but under grace. We’re gentiles so we don’t have to do all the Jewish stuff Name it and claim it. Praying to Jesus We can eat anything because Jesus made all foods clean Other false teachings Jesus took all the curses so we get all the blessings. Sunday is the “Sabbath” Paul did away with the law All that old testament stuff was nailed to the cross. The church is the new Israel Christmas and Easter
False teachers within the Messianic movement
If the teaching sounds strange then check it against Scripture.
If the Ruach Kodesh speaks to you and tells you this is wrong – it is wrong. Kick the dust off your feet and move on.
