Ron Eakes is the president of Mid Plains Construction Plains KS. In 1979, he established this company and since then it has been striving to deliver exclusive construction services. The establishment is ranked as one of the most successful construction companies in the Kansas area. He has more than 70 fully dedicated employees who serve under his unparalleled leadership approach. Besides being a successful owner of such a recognized company, he also owns three ready mix plants and has a huge partnership in two dairies.
He was born in the western part of Kansas, which is also known as Wheat State of the US. He lived at a farm house along with his ten other siblings. For his early education, he studied at the South Western Heights School, Kansas and also graduated in 1977 from that very same school. After this, he got admitted in Dodge City Community College in order to pursue a degree program. This college is a co-educational and public college situated at Dodge City and was founded in 1935. It is also known as DC3 and DCCC. The college offers associate degrees in arts, applied science, nursing, and other educational fields. The athletics team of the college is very popular and well recognized as Conqs. The official mascot of the college is the Conquistador. Ron also enrolled at Dale Carnegie Course for enhancing personal grooming, public speaking, salesmanship, and leadership skills.
On the other hand, he is also a social person who is greatly involved in a number of local charities and community non-profit organizations. Some of these organizations and charities include American Cancer Society, Kansas peace officers, Save the Children, Children’s Miracle Network, Knights of Columbus, Special Olympics, County Economic Organization, and the Church Council. He has also contributed towards local school board and Lion's club.
