Maine Coon cats have it structured in their genetic code to survive. This means, when they are stressed and cannot understand why or what to do, they may lash out at their surroundings. This lashing out should not be taken as a personaly but should be understood as a natural behavior. Aggression can have some serious consequences. This beautiful cat can show some really unwanted behaviors when they become increasingly aggressive. A full-grown Maine Coon cat can attack and inflict serious bodily harm to their surroundings including children, adults and fellow pets.
