My name is Richard Beckerman, Esq. and I was born in Queens N.Y.  Shortly thereafter, I moved to Nassau County where I was raised by a family of professionals that taught me the value of hard work and a sense of compassion to those under my care.   I am an alumnus from the University of Delaware and received my Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 2008. Upon my admission in 2008, I worked at a boutique high asset matrimonial law ?rm where I learned the ropes on how to effectively represent many wonderful people during some of the most di?cult times in their lives.  As my experience grew I brought my skills to a prominent divorce ?rm in Queens where I led the ?rm as the senior litigation associate.    During this time, I had the privilege to hone my skills at both trial advocacy and the art of negotiation, developing a powerful and respected reputation among matrimonial judges and other attorneys. I handled every major trial at the ?rm for 5 years as well as personally represented only clients with the most di?cult of cases.
