  1. March, 2010 What’s New in RSA 8.0 Beta 1 – Rose model import

  2. Rose Model Importer • Subunit Conversion Enhancements • Support for remapping from multiple modeling project. • Subunits can be imported as Root Packages. • Improved the usability to give user better control over the model sharing. • Pathmap based profile This feature allows conversion of Rose properties and stereotypes to pathmap based profiles. It also added support for reuse the deployed profile during Rose model Import

  3. Rose Model Importer • Map Rose User Types Rose User types are freely typed types, defined in the Rose model such that there are no such actual type existing in the model. This feature allows to import such Rose user-defined types into a existing or new custom model library. • Saving and Loading Subunit Conversion Selections You can now save the subunit conversion selections made on the Subunit Conversion page of the Rational Rose Model Importer wizard, in a .xml file. This feature is useful When you need to import the same sets of subunits (with count in order of hundreds or thousands) multiple times with the same conversion
