  1. How Long does Being High Last It is sometimes really funny when experienced marijuana users, ask the question ‘how long does marijuana stay in your system?’ when they get in trouble and are about to take a drug test to prove they haven’t had anything illegal. This just shows how much you need to know about the marijuana you use, how long THC metabolites last in your system and ways to ensure it isn’t detected even when used not long enough for it naturally leave your system.

  2. Different metabolism This is the reason why two people on the same food diet, weigh differently. People with different metabolisms, rid their bodies of waste and toxins differently. Therefore, a person with a very fast metabolism will expel THC faster than someone with a slow metabolism. It is very important to know the kind of metabolism your body has so you can correctly estimate how long it will take to rid your body of metabolites that could be detected by a simple drug test.

  3. 2. Method of use Scientifically, the more concentrated the marijuana used is, the longer it stays in the system. For liquid marijuana, which is quite concentrated, a single dose can last up to a week before all traces of THC is removed from the system. Liquid marijuana contains a high amount of cannabinoid and can easily be overdosed on, making it last longer in the system than usual. As for smoking marijuana, it all depends on the frequency of use. It is expected that a frequent smoker will have THC lasting longer in his system than a social user. Expulsion of THC from the system for a smoker could take between two to four weeks. 3. Weight and body fat of user It has been scientifically proven that Tetrahydrocannabinol metabolites, also known as THC, have a very high affinity for fatty tissues, THC molecules adhere to the fatty tissues in the body making expulsion difficult. This simply means that a heavier person would have more difficulty expelling THC from his system than a smaller person.
