Because above all else and beyond all others, they add value to their communities and to our state as a whole.
Value Proposition: 24/7 Care for All In 2010, Michigan community hospitals: • hosted more than 29,649,000 outpatient visits • admitted nearly 1,183,000 people • provided more than 5,513,000 days of inpatient care – at the same time keeping their average length of stay to 4.66 days (compared to 5.0 nationally) • cared for 4,518,000 emergency room patients
