Reflections • How do we reach scholars who expressed interest initially but have not participated? • How do we continue value-added peer to peer mentoring between meetings without it being burdensome to scholars? • How do we increase the frequency of discussions on math content? • SL as a rich platform for professional development.
Reflection from Scholars • “Sharing ideas and lesson plans on the wiki site was a great help” • “I liked sharing resources and information about our experiences in the classroom. There were several suggestions that I was able to incorporate in the classroom. Also, just being a support group for the many frustrations that we run into as teachers was most helpful. The one thing that did not work for me in the beginning was getting to second life. I will have to get a new PC” • “What work is that we are able to meet online conveniently”
