  1. Travel to England By Justine Fabre

  2. Introduction • I left for England on Friday 8th February with 11 other pupils of fourth form and two english teachers. • We stayed one week to improve our English. During the day we went to a primary school to speak with pupils. At night we went to our correspondents’.

  3. School description • My school’s name is St. Sidwell. It is located in the north east of Exeter. • There are six classrooms, six teachers and ten assistants.

  4. A pupil's day • 8.45am – Pupils arrive. • 8.55am – School starts. • 9.05am – « Whake up, Shake up » exercises. • 9.10am – Pupils go back to their classroom. • 10.10am – Playtime • 10.30 – 10.45am – Assembly and Worship. • 10.45-12am – Pupils go back to their classroom. • 12.00-1.00 : Lunch Hour • 1.00-3.30 : Class • Differences with France : French pupils finish school later at 16.15, they have playtime in the afternoon. They don’t pray at school. In England pupils must have lunch at school. Either they eat at the canteen or they bring their own lunch. In France pupils may either eat at the canteen or eat home. In France pupils don’t have wake up shake up exercises.
