The RFDS puts as much work as they can to help country side stay healthy by using the best medicals there are and Try’s there best to help people in the country side with medical help The service employs a range of health, aviation, marketing, communications, administration and HR professionals.

The RFDS are health professionals Through the use of transport and communication technologies and the provision of high quality health services the RFDS strives to improve the health and wellbeing of those who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia. The RFDS not only provides emergency and primary health care services but also health related support activities such as education and training and directing health professionals and consumers of our services to good quality health information. If you're a health professional working in the aeromedical field or planning a move in that direction, you'll find information on our services, equipment and practices as well as a great range of clinical, education and training resources. We aim, through knowledge and training and increased collaboration and partnerships with other departments and agencies, to redress differences between the health of rural and remote Australians and their metropolitan counterparts.
