Objectives • Provide an effective media to dairy farmers where they can learn new things from experts and can also get their queries answered. • The radio talk is broadcasted every Monday at 7:05 pm to 7:30 pm on Indraprastha channel at 817 MHz frequency. • This is the only programme in entire country. It is being done in collaboration with Director Animal Husbandry (Delhi) and Director (AIR) All India Radio.
Strategy Reaching Farmers Live Programme • A large number of progressive livestock farmers are in the rural areas of Haryana, West U.P., Delhi and NCR. The Women also have taken active participation • Live talks on radio focusing on preventing disease & enhancing productivity the healthy way was an effective way to communicate • Many farmers reverted back their positive feedback which was printed in the magazine. This was appreciated by the villagers which helped in better prescription of our products and their local availability. • The talk shows are conducted in the local language so that the people can easily understand it. • Many livestock owners & farmers are invited to the program to share their experiences & the profitability about using our product and progressive dairy practices.

Results & Impact • We receive many of letters every week from farmers either expressing their appreciation of the programme and product. • In the year 10-11 we have trained more than 150 farmers at our Centre at Chidana, Sonipat, Haryana. Even women join our training centre to avail the benefits of training. • A large number of customers take yearly subscription of our magazine. Our motto of providing animal health with traditional knowledge & Modern research has spread. • Our motto is to reach maximum farmers to share knowledge and improve animal health using traditional knowledge & Modern research.
