  2. Using the cut-paper technique of Eric Carle, create a book that explores the theme of magic in the novel Boy’s Life.

  3. Your book should be about the lessons and ideas of magic, not about specific incidents from the novel or about Cory.

  4. Begin with six pages of white paper; orient them in the “landscape” direction.Create a cover that displays your name and the title of your book.

  5. Type your text (Comic Sans is a good font) and either print directly on your white paper, adding your art later OR print the words and glue them neatly to your pages.

  6. When you are done, color copy your book. This step makes a HUGE difference in the quality of your finished product. For realz…
