  2. INTRODUCTION • Şahin is the first and the only integrated engine bearing producer in Turkey since 1955. Today the company has over a thousand bearing moulds, and provides products for numerous petrol and and diesel engines worldwide. Thanks to its experience and engineering know-how in the industry, Şahin is able to meet new requirements and expand its product range every growing year. • It has been a supplier of leading OEM’s and serves both domestic and world markets, a brand known for its quality, reliability and extensive after-sales service. PRODUCTION • Production is carried out on 8.000 m2 covered and a total of 22.000 m2 area • As a result of modernization projects our total capacity on three shifts is currently as follows: • Plain bearings (main and con-rod bearings): 23 million pcs/year • Thrustwashers: 2.2 millionpcs/year • Bushes : 3.2 millionpcs/year • Flangedbearings: 345.000 pcs/year • Total number of employees is 120 SAHIN ENGINE BEARINGS
