  2. Funky fonts • In old literature books, the first letter of the text was highly decorative and very pretty to look at. The letter was bold and lots of details were added to it. Today, you are going to create your own version of a fancy letter.

  4. Have a go… • 1) Using a ruler, make a frame around you page 3 cm wide. • 2) Choose what ever letter you like, perhaps you first initial. • 3). Make sure your letter is a big block so you can fill it with details inside.( florals, doodles, flames, whatever) • 4) Add color, stylize your design. • 5) Your border should relate to your letter as well.

  5. Evaluate your work… • Does your letter reflect who you are ? • Is the theme of your letter evident throughout your letter?
