Global Education Committee The primary purpose of the Global Education Committee is: to work with the OWASP Education Project to provide educational materials for both internal and external users, develop liaisons with educational institutions worldwide. Education Committee (Board Member Rep: Seba - P) Martin Knobloch (Netherlands),Mano Paul - P (U.S.), Eduardo Neves (Brazil), Kuai Hinjosa - P (U.S.), Cecil Su (Singapore), Fabio Cerullo - P (Ireland), Andrzej Targosz - P (Poland) - P: present Meeting monthly on last Thursday at 10 PM GMT 2

MM • ISC2 proposal on certification • See seperate document for details (action: all) • Seperate Skype call to go over the proposal and work out a recommendation to the board (action: all - prepare meeting September 9 – see http://whenisgood.net/ty2jm5 for you time zone) • Assessment portal (demo setup by Mano) • demo test questions to be created (action: Mano & Fabio) • Prepare SoC09 proposal for the questions (action: Mano & Fabio) • How to fit with sakai (used at universities)? • Goes further than assessments • Possible distribution channel for OWASP based course(s) • Contact to see if and how we can set this up (action: Kuai) • SOC09 proposal for “ENTERPRISE TRAINING PROJECT” by Cassio Goldschmidt • Needs to rework, reuse or replace (parts of) the existing material • Needs to be coordinated with Edu related projects (e.g. test questions) as part of SOC09

MM • OWASP University as part of the OWASP PodCast • Come up with a plan and start first podcast (action: Kuai) • A Wiki consolidation page with externals web application security edcution links • Start the stub and send the link to the Leaders list (action: Kuai to initiate this) • What about the CTF @ DC?
